St Mary’s Church was full of shareholders and supporters for the 7th AGM of Fittleworth Community Shop Ltd on Thursday 25th January 2024. The lively crowd, numbering more than seventy, enjoyed savoury and sweet treats from the shop before the meeting began.
Chair Sally Tanner reported on another very successful year in the shop and the café, and thanked staff and volunteers for all their hard work. Before presenting the accounts for the year ending August 31st, Treasurer Mick Foote gave a fascinating and very topical report on what it takes to open and run a Post Office.
