Fittleworth Food Angels
Food Angels is a scheme aimed to provide a helping hand to those who need it. It was set up during the COVID-19 pandemic but now continues to provide one off or short term support via weekly free food boxes to those who are struggling to feed themselves or their families.
Food Angels does not replace the vital work of local food banks or government support agencies. It is there to provide extra support to those in need and is open to all who live in Fittleworth or the surrounding hamlets.

The scheme is financed by donations from local residents and grant funding.
The Trussell Trust
We have a donations box within the Store where we collect food donations for the Trussell Trust nationwide network of food banks which provides emergency food and support to those in our local area.
There is a list by the donations box of items currently requested by the food bank.
